The First Impact Factor for Annals of Breast Surgery: 0.9

We are pleased to announce that the Annals of Breast Surgery (ABS) has attained its first impact factor for the 2024 citation year: 0.9 (Figure 1).

Annals of Breast Surgery (Ann Breast Surg; ABS; online ISSN 2616-2776) is an open access, peer-reviewed online journal, which provides current and practical information on prevention, diagnosis, and clinical investigations of breast diseases. The journal focuses on cutting-edge findings in the field of breast cancer surgery and reconstruction technique, neoadjuvant therapy, genetic susceptibility and prophylactic mastectomy, including but not limited to, multimodality therapy, biomarkers, imaging, biology, pathology, clinical trial, nursing and technical advances related to breast surgery. Annals of Breast Surgery is indexed and covered by Web of Science [Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)] and Scopus.

We strive to follow the best practices in publishing. The announcement of the journal’s latest impact factor is not only a significant achievement for the journal but also the recognition of its more significant scientific reach.
