Fiona MacNeill, MD, FRCS

Fiona qualified from St Bartholomew's Hospital, London in 1983. She has been a consultant general and breast surgeon since 1996 but now practices exclusively in oncoplastic breast surgery working at The London Breast Clinic in Harley Street and The Royal Marsden Hospital, London. When Breast Tutor at The Royal College of Surgeons of England she established the UK sentinel lymph node training program and oncoplastic surgery portfolio and delivered the novel breast curriculum. She was President of the Association of Breast Surgery (ABS) of Great Britain and Ireland from 2015-2017 and is currently vice-president of the European division of breast surgery (UEMS) and National lead for a major standard setting and quality improvement program in breast surgery (GIRFT).

Fiona lectures nationally and internationally on oncoplastic surgery, breast surgery training and changing role of breast surgery in the treatment of breast cancer and importance of multidisciplinary working and treatment planning in the delivery modern breast cancer care. She acts in an advisory capacity to a number of charities and Department of Health committees.
